ResQ Medical is an app designed to reduce administrative load by automatically tracking trainee work hours. ResQ understands that trainees may be concerned about privacy and has committed to transparency about the data the app collects.

Resident Workflow Tip - Medical Student Notes
|
When signing Medical Student Notes it is important to ask for an attending co-signature so they can be utilized as additional documentation in the Medical Record. If they are not going to be used as additional documentation please decline the note requesting it to be changed to a student note. |
BoardVitals Now Available through Eccles Library |
BoardVitals is a powerful exam prep tool that includes medical board review resources, including question banks and practice exams, specifically designed to help residents prepare for board exams. There are resources and test banks for over 40 Medical Board exams.
REGISTRATION IS REQUIRED FOR ACCESS
REGISTER HERE or use the "Create an account" option from the sign in screen to register for an account using your utah.edu email address. Once you have created an account you can use it to login on future visits to BoardVitals.
The Getting Started Guide is helpful in learning how to create test banks, take practice exams, etc.

- Exceptional Candidate/UT Medical License Waivers (before offering position)
- Participating Site/Rotation Changes (Check with Feliz Martinez to confirm what is required)
- New Required RETURN Rotations
- Appeals of ACGME Review Committee Denials
- Any major changes to your program’s curriculum

| GME Wellness Physician Leadership and Well-Being in Medicine Course |
Registration is broadly open* for the 7th annual Physician Leadership and Well-Being in Medicine Course, sponsored by GME Wellness, this coming December 1-12, 2025. If you have a trainee or are a trainee who has experienced negative impacts related to occupational trauma or you think might benefit from a course devoted to practical application of tools for leadership, community-building, and self-care, please consider sharing or participating in this year's course.
To enroll, trainees require the permission of their Program Director, and then can email Katie Gradick (Katie.Gradick@hsc.utah.edu) and Amy Armstrong (Amy.Armstrong@hsc.utah.edu) to be added to the course register.
*In an effort to make the course accessible to trainees across the U of U, we are accepting a maximum of three trainees per program until July 1st. At that time, we will open registration again without program caps. Our priority will be for trainees who are not able to attend in future years, and for those who can attend both weeks of the course.

GME Wellness: LGBTQ+ Community Group
|
Thursday, April 17, 2025 | 7:30pm - 9:30pm

The LGBTQ+ Community Group provides a private and confidential place where LGBTQ+ trainees and allies can gain peer support, encouragement and camaraderie around their sexual and gender identities. The space is for anyone who identifies in the queer community, including allies, to share and discuss ideas and experiences related to issues that impact doctors inside and outside of medicine.

The BIPOC Faculty and Staff Check-In (Trainees welcome)

A space for people who identify as Black, Indigenous, or People of Color to check in, share and connect. Many BIPOC people are naturally experiencing heightened emotions related to racial trauma. This is a space for people of shared racial identity to support ourselves and one another.
